Company Introduction

Uneedcomms (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is a company based in Seoul, South Korea, providing NudgeAI services. We are a specialized company offering Shopify apps that simplify customer registration processes and help sellers communicate more effectively with their target audience. Types of Information Collected

We collect personal information from two major user groups:

1. Shopify E-commerce Businesses (Direct Customers)

From Shopify e-commerce businesses using NudgeAI services, we collect the following information: - Email address - First and last name - Business information - Contact information - Payment information - Shopify store information

This information is used for service provision, technical support, account management, payment processing, and providing marketing communications about our products and services.

2. E-commerce Businesses' Customers (End Users)

Through NudgeAI services, we collect the following information from the customers of e-commerce businesses: - Email address - First and last name - Social network profile pictures (optional) - Marketing email subscription consent status - Subscription acquisition time and date

Additionally, for on-site marketing features, we may collect the following behavioral data: - Visited page information - Viewed product information - Cart item information - Purchase history - Browser and device information - IP address - Browser identification information through cookies and similar technologies

This information is collected to provide social login services including Google One Tap Sign-in, manage e-commerce businesses' pricing plans, and provide customized on-site marketing messages. We determine the pricing plan applicable to an e-commerce business based on the number of marketing subscription emails acquired.

If you are under 13 years of age, please do not attempt to register for our services or send any personal information. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe we may have information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@nudgeaiapp.com.

Use of Google One Tap Sign-In

We offer a login option through Google One Tap Sign-In (or Google OAuth). By choosing this method, you grant us access to certain information from your Google account, such as email address, name, and profile image, according to the permissions you allow (e.g., basic profile data). We use this information solely to simplify the registration or login process, provide requested services, and enhance the overall user experience.

If at any time you do not want our application to access your Google account, you can revoke this permission in your Google account settings (found under "Security" > "Third-party apps with account access"). Once the permission is revoked, we will no longer be able to collect additional information from your Google account.

We do not use information collected through Google One Tap Sign-In for targeted advertising or marketing purposes without your explicit consent. All data obtained through Google OAuth receives the same level of protection and privacy handling principles as stated in this policy.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that may contain unique identifiers. Cookies are sent from websites to your browser and stored on your device's hard drive. We use session ID cookies to enable certain features of our service, understand your interactions with our services, and monitor web traffic. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you reject cookies, some features of our services may not function properly.

We do not use personal information for advertising or marketing purposes without obtaining prior consent, as required by relevant laws.

Subscription-Based Pricing Model

Our service uses a tiered pricing model based on the number of subscription emails acquired by e-commerce businesses through our platform. To operate this pricing structure smoothly, we collect and store the following information from e-commerce businesses' customers: - Email address - Marketing consent status - Subscription acquisition time and date

This information is used to calculate the appropriate pricing tier for e-commerce businesses and provide accurate billing. We analyze this data in an aggregated form to calculate the total number of valid marketing subscription emails acquired by each e-commerce business. Specific pricing tiers and details can be found in our service terms of use or pricing page.

On-Site Marketing and Behavioral Analysis

Our NudgeAI service provides on-site marketing features that allow e-commerce businesses to analyze customer behavior and persuade/guide next actions through customized messages. For this feature, we collect and process the following information:

Behavioral Data Collected

Website navigation patterns and visited pages Product viewing history Cart activities (add, remove, abandon) Purchase history and patterns Time spent Click activities Browser and device information IP address (for location information estimation purposes)

How Data is Used

This data is used for the following purposes: - Analyzing customers' shopping journey - Displaying personalized offers and promotional messages - Providing reminders to prevent cart abandonment - Customized product recommendations - Adjusting timing and messages to optimize conversion rates

Data Processing and Storage

Behavioral data is analyzed only for customers of individual e-commerce businesses and may be used for aggregate analysis in anonymized form. This data is retained during the service provision period and may be retained for up to 6 months after the termination of the contract with the e-commerce business.

Data Sharing

Collected behavioral data is provided only to the respective e-commerce business and is not shared with third parties. However, aggregated statistical information may be used internally for service improvement purposes.

Opt-Out Options

Customers of e-commerce businesses can refuse behavioral tracking by disabling cookies through browser settings or through opt-out mechanisms provided in accordance with relevant laws.

Email Marketing and Promotional Communications

Marketing to Shopify E-commerce Businesses

We may occasionally use the email address or other contact information of Shopify e-commerce businesses using NudgeAI services to send marketing or promotional communications about our services, new features, or special offers. This is only done in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and we provide clear methods to opt-out of receiving such communications at any time.

When registering for our service, you are provided with an opportunity to opt-in to receive marketing communications through a clear checkbox or similar method. Except where permitted by relevant laws, we do not send marketing communications unless the e-commerce business explicitly opts in. Consent status is recorded and stored with account information.

E-commerce Businesses' Customer Data

We do not use e-commerce businesses' customer data for direct marketing purposes. This information is used solely for providing services to e-commerce businesses and managing price plans.

Please note that even if you opt-out of marketing messages, we may still send transactional or service-related communications (e.g., account notifications or support messages).

Information Disclosure

All personal information you provide is securely stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers, which may be located outside your country of residence. We do not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other individuals or companies, except as required by laws or regulations. We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal data is not disclosed to unauthorized entities or government agencies unless legally required to do so.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of sensitive data, regular security assessments, access controls, and employee training on data protection practices.

While we strive to protect your personal information using commercially acceptable methods, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention Period

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required or permitted by law for a longer retention period. For users registered through our services, we typically retain account information during the period of your active relationship with us, and for an additional 12 months after account closure or last activity. For email subscription data, we retain this information while the subscription is active, and for 6 months after unsubscription for anti-spam law compliance and analytical purposes.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us as described in the "Information Modification or Deletion" section.

International Data Transfers

As our services are provided globally through the Shopify platform, your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence. By using our services, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to AWS data centers located outside your country of residence, which may include countries with different data protection rules than your country.

European Economic Area (EEA) Users

If you are located in the EEA, we ensure that such transfers are performed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, to protect your information when transferred internationally.

California Users

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). For more information, please refer to the California Privacy Rights section below or contact us.

Korean Users

If you are a resident of South Korea, your personal information is protected by the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). We comply with all PIPA requirements regarding the collection, use, and protection of your personal information.

Information Modification or Deletion

If you have created an account with NudgeAI services, you can review, update, or delete your profile by logging into the "Account" page of the respective Shopify store or by contacting support@nudgeaiapp.com. We may maintain archival copies of records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. If you wish to delete information about you that we hold, please email support@nudgeaiapp.com.

If you choose to revoke our access to your Google account, we will no longer collect new data from your account. However, it is your responsibility to request removal from our systems if you want previously collected data to be deleted.
